City Walk Shops
Like its predecessors Universal
CityWalk Hollywood and Downtown Disney, Universal Studios CityWalk in
Orlando features and eclectic mix of retail stores from wacky toys and
groovy watches to the obligatory cigar store and theme park gift shop.
All Star Collectibles
-- Not to be confused with the All Star Cafe shops, Collectibles features
the gamut of sport-themed signed memorabilia and other gift options
to please the fanatic. You can find autographed keepsakes and team-sponsored
items from almost every sport imaginable, and CityWalk's store promises
to offer a full line of merchandise from all of Florida's college and
professional sports team.
Captain Crackers --
Universal describes this as "a wild and wacky disco jungle fantasyland."
T-shirts and Florida-style resort wear is the order of the day, along
with more wacky toys.
Cigarz at CityWalk
-- A must for every trendy shopping center, this domicile of tobacco
offers a myriad of brands and accessories for the cigar aficionado.
In addition to their assortment of tobacco products, Cigarz will offer
a selection of cordials, single malt scotch and coffees.
Dapy -- An upscale
version of the Spencer Gifts mall chain (Universal oversees both brands),
Dapy originated in Paris, with its first American store popping up in
the Soho district of in New York in 1984. Trendy novelties, '60s and
'70s memorabilia and other retro gifts can be found in a colorful, cosmopolitan
atmosphere. Dapy is also a fixture at the Orlando International Airport.
Elegant Illusions
-- A "copy jewelry and created gems" that has 30 stores in the Unites
States and Caribbean, Elegant Illusions features a mixture of traditional
jewelry styles and innovative specialty pieces.
Endangered Species
-- Merchandise and apparel designed to promotes awareness of endangered
species. The ES stores regularly features artists, authors and educators
to give special talks on specific efforts and the overall race to save
at risk animals.
Fossil -- One
of the hippest watch companies on the market, Central Floridian's already
are familiar buying Fossil direct, as their "Country Store" on International
Drive serves up Fossil goods at outlet prices. CityWalk's Fossil is
a bit more upscale store, featuring Fossil's complete line of watches,
clocks, clothes, sunglasses and leather goods.
Glow! - True
to its name, Glow!'s array of clothes, jewelry, stationary, art and
other gifts are designed to light up your life. Bright and shiny are
the store's buzzwords.
Quite Flight -- What Florida
shopping destination would be complete without a beach wear store? Not
this one. Quiet flight has all the boards, suits and accessories to
equip any outing that includes frolicking in the surf or just hanging
out on the sand.
Silver -- Art
deco and swing music set the mood for this mod version of a '30s corner
jewelry shop. CityWalk's Silver is designed to represent the 1930's
ship, "The Normandie;" and features an array of unique inspirations
on traditional jewelry.
Tabasco Country Store
-- The resurgence of hot sauce brings with a glut of merchandise associated
with the traditional Tabasco line. A full array of sauces guaranteed
to put fire in your mouth is on hand, as are T-shirts, toys and other
trinkets to carry the memory with you.
The Universal Studios
store -- The flagship of Universal's CityWalk features park
merchandise as well as T-shirts, keychains, pins and other collectibles
from Universal's current films and the studio's historic film library.
